Job summary

Caterpillar Remanufacturing in Corinth, MS is hiring for a Machining I position. You will work in a fast-paced, safety- and quality-focused environment, interpreting blueprints and performing quality checks, and operating hand tools and gauges. Hoists and potential heavy equipment may be used.

This 2nd shift role offers a starting pay of $18.35/hour with a 7% night shift premium, plus a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for cross-training within Salary Grade 2 positions.

Qualifications

• Read/write and interpret documents
• Basic computer experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Experience with basic tooling
• Previous machining experience
• Experience reading blueprints
• Microsoft Office familiarity

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced, safety and quality focused environment
• Interpret blueprints and perform quality checks

• Use hoists and possibly heavy equipment
• Move parts with forklifts or overhead cranes
