Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in West Fargo, ND is seeking a Shop Technician I to support Reman Drivetrain. The role involves basic assembly/disassembly, reading work instructions, and using tools to ensure quality in a manufacturing setting.

You will work on the 2nd shift (4:15PM-2:45AM) with a 7% night shift premium, and you’ll contribute to a safe, efficient production environment while growing your skills within Caterpillar Remanufacturing.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Ability to read/write and interpret standard work instructions.
• Must possess ability to learn new tasks and use tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Utilize PinPoint, CRDL Production Systems and Teams Forms for tasks.
• Perform basic assembly and disassembly operations.
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, gauges and presses to meet specs.
• Operate overhead cranes/hoists and/or electric pallet jacks as needed.
• Take part in CI/PID process and follow production schedules.
