Job summary

Epic on its Madison campus seeks a Trainer to lead in-person and virtual training for physicians, nurses, and healthcare users. You’ll be the first point of contact for staff, shaping their transition to Epic and helping save lives.

You’ll design training materials, scenarios, and workflows with tight-knit teams, travel 25-60% of days, and relocate to the Madison area with reimbursement. Epic offers sabbatical after five years and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher (any major).
• Experience in education, teaching, or performance preferred.
• Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, with typical 1–2 trips lasting 2–4 days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID-19 vaccination may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users.
• Be the first point of contact for staff and users and shape their Epic experience.
• Contribute to instructional design and develop training materials and scenarios.
• Collaborate with teams to create workflow-based training content and training programs.
