Job summary

Hudson Manpower is seeking Linux/UNIX Systems Engineers with 2–4 years of hands-on experience to support, administer, and maintain Linux/UNIX environments. The role requires willingness to relocate anywhere in the United States based on project needs.

You'll work across cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), automation tools, and DevOps practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, security, and performance.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of Linux/UNIX system administration experience.
• Experience with RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu/SUSE or other UNIX/Linux distributions.
• Shell/Bash scripting and some Python.
• Experience with virtualization and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Linux/UNIX servers.
• Monitor, tune performance, patch, and upgrade systems.
• Support production and non-production Linux environments.
• Automate routine tasks with Shell, Bash, or Python.
• Work with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Manage virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, Networking, Security teams.
• Configure web servers, app servers, and file systems.
• Monitor system health with enterprise tools.
• Participate in incident management and RCA.
• Follow security best practices and compliance.
