Komatsu Mining Corp. seeks a Shop Technician for our Elko, NV shop to perform repairs, maintenance, and rebuilds on heavy mining equipment. You will diagnose issues, follow strict safety standards, and document work while contributing to rapid, quality service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment or diesel maintenance; an Associate Degree is preferred. Relocation packages, competitive pay, and robust benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment repair or diesel mechanics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with diesel/hydraulic/electrical systems knowledge.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform high-quality repairs.

Responsabilités

• Perform shop repairs, maintenance, and rebuilds on heavy mining equipment.
• Remove, inspect, repair, and reinstall mechanical, hydraulic, and powertrain parts.
• Diagnose failures using procedures and diagnostic tools.
• Analyze failures, test, and adjust repairs to meet specs.
• Ensure high quality, safe repairs with minimal rework.
• Follow shop safety, JSA, contamination-control, and HAZMAT rules.
• Document repairs, parts used, findings, and required follow-up.
