Lubrizol Corporation in Louisville, KY is seeking a Plant Manager to lead safety, quality, delivery, cost and continuous improvement at the site. You will set the safety culture and drive manufacturing excellence while collaborating with corporate leadership on TempRite and Vycar products.

The role requires a BS in engineering, 12+ years chemical manufacturing experience, and 8+ years leading teams, with a focus on PSM and regulatory compliance. On-site relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience enabling a culture where safety is a core value.
• Strong leadership in manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and PSM concepts.
• Ability to present technical information to diverse audiences.
• Experience managing large teams in chemical manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and exemplify a culture where safety is a core value and model appropriate behaviors.
• Provide leadership for operational excellence programs including CAPA and RCA.
• Manage site functions including safety, quality, manufacturing, logistics, procurement, maintenance, capital engineering and finance.
• Collaborate with Corporate Leadership for TempRite and Vycar functions.
• Promote a responsive plant culture through teamwork and accountability.
• Oversee talent management and employee development and promote constructive relations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and alignment of plant goals with business strategies.
• Work with business, marketing, sales and process technology teams on new product development and scale-up.
