Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Missions Systems sector seeks an Obsolescence Engineer Level 2 to lead DMSMS processes and chair IPT meetings.

You will gather data from customers and suppliers, analyze BOMs and part lists, and produce DMSMS roadmaps and issue reports for leadership. Requires STEM degree (BS with 2 years or MS with 0), U.S. citizenship, and ability to obtain Secret clearance; on-site in Rolling Meadows, IL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of relevant experience OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Proven ability to lead and communicate with cross-functional teams internally and with customers externally
• Preferred: Active Secret Security Clearance or higher

Responsibilities

• Implementing the department DMSMS process for the program
• Collection of information from customers, suppliers, and internal sources
• Analysis of BOMs, drawings and parts lists and data manipulation in Microsoft Office
• Create, analyze and produce DMSMS technology roadmaps and issue reports
• Serve as the DMSMS IPT Lead and chair IPT meetings
• Coordinate with Buyers, Supply Chain, Standards & Components, and Product Follow
