Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Obsolescence Engineer Level 2 for our Rolling Meadows, Illinois location. The role focuses on DMSMS management to meet contractual requirements, using in-house and third-party tools for identification and resolution tracking.

The individual will chair IPT meetings and coordinate with Buyers, Supply Chain, Standards & Components, and Product Follow teams. The position is full-time and on-site, requiring collaboration with multiple IPTs, detailed status updates to

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master in STEM with required experience as stated.
US Citizenship is required for this role.
Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance.
Proven ability to lead and communicate with cross-functional teams internally and with customers externally.
Demonstrated experience in creating and delivering technical briefings and presentations.

Responsibilities

Lead DMSMS process and collect information from multiple internal/external sources.
Analyze BOMs, drawings, and parts lists; prepare customer deliverables in MS Office.
Create and present DMSMS technology roadmaps and issue reports to customers and management.
Chair recurring DMSMS IPT meetings and coordinate with Buyers, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams.
Act as primary liaison for internal program management and external customers.
