Marriott Vacations Worldwide seeks a Hotel Housekeeping Operations Leader to manage daily shift operations for Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club, and Laundry where applicable. You will direct staff to keep guestrooms, public spaces and employee areas clean and well maintained, and ensure inspections and corrective actions are completed.

You will monitor budgets, communicate with Front Desk, schedule staff, train employees, and lead safety and service initiatives to uphold guest satisfaction

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years' housekeeping experience or related field.
• 2-year degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major.

Mansioni

• Ensures guest room status is communicated to the Front Desk in a timely and efficient manner.
• Inspects guestrooms daily.
• Obtains list of rooms to be cleaned and prepares work assignments.
• Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies.
• Supports and supervises an effective inspection program for all guestrooms and public space.
• Understands impact of department operations on property financial goals and budgets.
• Ensures all employees have supplies, equipment and uniforms.
• Communicates areas needing attention to staff and follows up.
• Supervises daily housekeeping shift operations and ensures adherence to policies and procedures.
• Participates in departmental meetings to align goals and drive results.
• Trains new room attendants and provides follow-up training.
• Maintains open relationships with employees and fosters collaboration.
• Schedules employees and tracks attendance.
• Ensures fair and consistent enforcement of policies with documentation.
• Manages staffing levels to meet guest service and financial objectives.
• Recognizes employee contributions and maintains an open-door policy.
• Participates in progressive discipline as needed.
• Celebrates successes and recognizes team contributions.
• Sets a positive example for guest relations.
• Develops and implements corrective action plans to improve guest satisfaction.
• Empowers staff to deliver excellent service and focus on continuous improvement.
• Handles guest problems and complaints and strives to improve service performance.

Formazione

High school diploma or GED; 2 years' experience in housekeeping or related professional area

2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
