The Mannik & Smith Group, Inc. (MSG) in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Civil Engineering Group Manager to lead the civil team in land development projects. You will manage delivery, mentor staff, and work with clients and regulators to drive high-quality design and timely execution.

Ideal candidates have a PE, 8+ years of civil experience, and strong AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills. MSG offers relocation assistance, a base salary range of $140,000-$180,000, and a collaborative, growth-focused culture.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE license in OH, MI, PA or IN required.
• 8+ years in civil engineering with leadership or supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D required.
• Experience with stormwater reports and designs.
• Design and plan preparation for site development projects.
• Roadway design and survey coordination is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead civil engineering team for land development and site design.
• Manage day-to-day operations, budgets, and schedules.
• Mentor and develop civil engineers and designers.
• Oversee site layout, grading, utilities, stormwater, and SWPPP plans.
• Review and approve construction documents, specs, and estimates.
• Oversee feasibility studies, due diligence, zoning analyses, and stormwater design.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure code compliance.
• Build relationships with clients, municipalities, and regulators.
• Coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support business development and proposal efforts.
• Foster collaboration and continuous improvement across the office.
