Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) on our Third Floor STEP DOWN unit in Fayetteville, NC. You will plan and implement professional nursing care per hospital policy and may assume charge nurse duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree in nursing (BSN preferred), NC RN licensure (or compact state), and 1–2 years of LTACH/stepdown experience; strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills are required.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license or compact state license.
• Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• 1–2 years of LTACH/stepdown experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates patient care.
• Administers medication as ordered by physician.
• Assesses patient needs and identifies care goals; coordinates with Interdisciplinary team.
• Assumes charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.
