Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse to plan, implement, and evaluate professional nursing care and to serve as charge nurse when assigned.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current licensure in North Carolina as a Registered Nurse or Compact state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates professional nursing care for patients.
• Assumes charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.
• Administers medication as ordered by physician.
• Establishes collaborative relationships with Health System staff and medical staff.
• Maintains patient care records and meets safety/quality standards.
• Supports patients' cultural and spiritual beliefs within medical regimens.
