Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is hiring a Cargo Tank Inspector for our Gibraltar, MI location. The role requires 5+ years of tank and/or trailer repair and inspection experience, with relocation assistance available.

Pay ranges from $29 to $37 per hour, based on experience, with skill-based reviews every six months. The candidate will diagnose failures, inspect and repair mechanical and electrical systems, and ensure compliance with DOT HM183/hazmat standards.

Qualifications

• Diagnose failures and perform repairs on mechanical, electrical or other systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair experience.
• Trailer suspension installation and repair.
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs.
• TIG welding experience (optional).
• Ability to inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat).
• Must be a Registered Inspector, or eligible to become a registered inspector within 6 months.
