Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is hiring a Maintenance Technician Level 4 in De Soto, Kansas. The role focuses on skilled maintenance, preventive tasks, and troubleshooting of production equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will work with Operations and Maintenance teams to minimize downtime, improve equipment performance, and contribute to continuous improvement, applying mechanical and electrical knowledge across systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant maintenance or technical work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Basic knowledge of electrical theory and instrumentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills with minimal supervision.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
• Clear communication in English and teamwork with Operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks with minimal supervision following procedures.
• Repair and troubleshoot production equipment and mechanical systems.
• Read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and diagrams.
• Support TPM programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide guidance to Level 3 technicians and peers.
• Document maintenance actions and communicate issues clearly.

Education

Associate degree or higher in a technical discipline

Journeyman Certification

PECNA-approved Technical Training
