City and County of Denver is seeking part-time instructors for courses in Religious Studies, including Asian Religions, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. The role involves teaching between 3–9 credit hours, preparing lesson plans, and providing feedback to students.
Applicants should have at least a Master’s degree in Religious Studies or a related field and experience in higher education teaching. The salary per credit hour ranges from $1,264 to $1,482, and positions are dependent on budget and enrollment.
Instructors will teach one to three classes per semester. The Department of Philosophy seeks qualified educators to teach courses in Religious Studies, including RLG 1040 – Asian Religions, RLG 1050 – Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and RLG 1090 – Religion, Justice, and Liberation Movements. Classes may be taught in‑person, online, or hybrid.
Affiliate faculty are part‑time, at‑will employees hired on a per credit‑hour basis for specific classes, usually on a semester‑by‑semester basis. Affiliate faculty are not eligible for benefit coverage under the University’s benefit program. All assignments are dependent on budget and enrollment.
