The City and County of Denver is seeking part‑time affiliate faculty for the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver). The role involves teaching various mathematics courses and assisting students with academic support.

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for part‑time affiliate faculty teaching positions. The Mathematics and Statistics affiliate instructor will conduct 1–9 hours of General Studies mathematics courses and/or small group learning sessions that accompany General Studies mathematics courses. They will work and interact with diverse groups of students and/or coordinate with faculty teaching lecture sections aligned with learning sessions. Affiliate faculty are part‑time, at‑will employees hired to teach on a per credit hour basis for specific classes, usually on a semester‑by‑semester basis. Affiliate faculty are not eligible for benefit coverage under the University’s benefit program. All such teaching assignments are dependent on budget and enrollment. Qualified candidates will be expected to teach in person/on campus upon hire.
The final salary is based on the number of credit hours assigned at a rate determined by university policy. Rate of pay per credit hour assignment can be between $1,264 – $1,482.
