Keystone Veterinary Emergency & Referral in Havertown, PA, as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare family, seeks a Relief Veterinary Technician to support our team. You will provide end-to-end patient care, run outpatient treatments, and perform lab tests while assisting with admitting and discharging patients.

This relief-as-needed role requires strong anesthesia skills, a positive attitude, and excellent communication. Swing or overnight shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care).
• Must be able to work Swing or Overnight Shifts.
• CVT/RVT/LVT active and current preferred.
• Superior/advanced technical skills in veterinary care.
• Strong anesthesia skills and ability to monitor vital signs with clinical correlation.
• Positive work attitude and self-motivation.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end care for patients, including outpatient treatments and lab tests.
• Support admitted and discharged patient processes with accuracy and empathy.
• Assist doctors with anesthesia management and patient monitoring as needed.
