Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a Relief Veterinary Technician to join a fast-paced, state-of-the-art emergency team. This full-time role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with a starting pay range of $20–$40 per hour based on experience and progression through competency levels.

You will triage patients, obtain histories, initiate CPR when needed, place IVs and central lines, monitor ventilator cases, and work with skilled teams to deliver advanced care.

Qualifications

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system.

As a Veterinary Technician, you will:

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR

• Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
• Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
• Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
