Job summary

Biospringer by Lesaffre is seeking a Relief Supervisor to cover for Production Supervisors and support the Production Manager in plant operations. You will work with Supervisors to ensure safe, efficient production, manage shift coverage, and support training and special projects.

Day shift with 12-hour rotating coverage (5 AM–5 PM or 5 PM–5 AM) on a 12-hour cycle. Requires a degree or 2–3 years supervising in food manufacturing plus SAP familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Biotechnology, Chemistry, or Production Management preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years experience as a supervisor in a food-processing manufacturer.
• Basic math, chemistry, and microbiology knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee activities of Process and Drying Operators.
• Ensure control sheets are completed for each process.
• Cover open Production Supervisor shifts and perform supervisor duties.
• Maintain inventory and order materials for production.
• Assist with SAP month-end, batching, and lot reconciliation.
• Update production schedules and enforce safety, GMP, HACCP programs.
• Support training and special projects to improve productivity.
