Job summary

Old Dutch Foods is seeking a dependable Relief Route Sales Representative to cover multiple routes, ensuring products are delivered, stocked, rotated, and presented well for customers across territories. You’ll build relationships with store personnel, drive sales, and maintain route truck operations while keeping paperwork accurate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain DOT medical certification.
• Previous full-time work experience (retail grocery, direct store delivery, or truck driving preferred).
• Strong math, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new routes, products, and schedules.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., pushing/pulling carts up to 150 lbs., and working in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Order, deliver, stock, and rotate products according to company standards.
• Set up and maintain visually appealing product displays.
• Manage schedules to meet customer needs across multiple territories.
• Build relationships with store personnel and decision-makers to generate additional sales.
• Operate and maintain a route truck, load/unload products, and keep equipment clean and organized.
• Complete all paperwork accurately, neatly, and on time.
• Participate in meetings and trainings for new products and promotions.
