Job summary

ASEL is seeking a Relief Retail Security Officer for the Bangor area. You will provide a visible deterrent, respond to incidents, and complete incident reports while patrolling the store and maintaining customer safety.

The role requires a valid SIA licence, ability to travel in-store, and dedication to professional conduct. Training is provided, and shifts are varied to cover relief positions across locations.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence required.
• Five-year checkable work or education history.
• Right to work documents and proof of address must be brought to interview.
• Full training will be provided for applicants without prior security experience.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the shop floor to deter criminal activity.
• Assess vulnerabilities and proactively minimise risk.
• Liaise with store management and local authorities as needed.
• Manage vulnerable persons with empathy and professionalism.
• Carry out searches of colleagues and contractors per policy.
• Digitally report incidents using tablets or phones.
• Produce clear, detailed incident reports for clients and authorities.
