We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate individual to come join our direct care team at Chesterfield Group Home! Our program supports the development and growth of young adults involved with the Connecticut DCF who have experienced significant emotional challenges.
Due to the nature of our work and the youth who are depending on us, there are times where overtime may be mandated.
We Provide The Training So That:
- You will learn how to provide direct care within the group home outlined by agency and program policies.
- Learn how to support the development and growth of young adults who have experienced significant emotional challenges.
- Become knowledgeable in how to lead by example and role model for all staff and students.
- Learn to work as an integral part of an active and engaged team.
- You will assist in handling special projects as assigned by the Administrative Team, or designee.

Requirements:- Must be 21 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred. Come ready to learn and we will provide all the resources necessary for you to excel!
- Valid Drivers License required.
- Be able to establish clear professional boundaries, work as a team member and consistently implement all policies and procedures, rules and regulations of JRI.
- At JRI, you will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our students!
- Background and driving record checks will be performed.
