Job summary

You will conduct self-directed, strength-based coaching and lead groups, while connecting clients to community resources in a recovery-focused environment. The role requires lived recovery experience, CCAR/RSS certification, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years lived experience in stable recovery is required.
• Completion of CCAR Recovery Coach Academy and/or RSS training is required.
• Established boundaries and ethics for professional work.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in clinical or medical treatment settings is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provides recovery coaching through strength-based principles.
• Leads group discussions and one-on-one coaching using active listening and motivational interviewing.
• Facilitates continued treatment and warm hand-offs to higher levels of care.
• Conducts screenings as the first contact for new admits.
• Intervenes during client crises with supervisor guidance and documents outcomes.
• Connects clients with community resources and pathways to recovery.
• Prepares supervision agendas and seeks guidance to meet job demands.
• Assumes additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
