Job summary

Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the Toppenish Medical-Dental Clinic in Toppenish, WA.

You will enter patient data, process prescriptions, manage stock, and assist with billing and clinical tasks in a community health setting. The role supports a broad range of services across a network of clinics, with comprehensive benefits and a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Pharmacy license or intern license active in practice states.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient data including name, insurance, allergies, doctor and diagnosis.
• Enter prescription in system and select brand, product, strength.
• Dispense product from stock and deliver to patient.
• Monitor stock levels and order restocking as needed.
• Verify invoices and place stickers on items before shelving.
• Check expiration dates and handle returns with wholesalers.
• Process third-party billing and obtain prior authorizations when needed.
• Perform clinical responsibilities aligned with TJC, HRSA, and YVFWC requirements.
