Meijer Pharmacy in Lexington, KY is seeking a Relief Pharmacist to join a patient-focused team. You will review, verify, and dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, and help deliver immunizations and clinical services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
• Current pharmacist license.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail or community pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient counseling skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy systems, policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense prescription medications.
• Deliver exceptional patient care through counseling and education.
• Perform immunizations and other clinical services where permitted by state law.
• Mentor, coach, and develop pharmacy technicians.
• Lead pharmacy operations in the absence of the Pharmacist in Charge.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and all state and federal regulations.
