Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our team in Indiana. You will fill prescriptions accurately, educate and mentor technicians, and ensure compliance with Meijer policies and state/federal regulations.

In this role, you’ll lead patient care initiatives, maintain strong patient relationships, and support operational leadership. Immunization services may be provided where allowed, contributing to overall pharmacy growth and patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community Practice.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system, policies and procedures, understanding of regulatory in the state the unit operates.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge.
• Perform clinical services, including immunizations where allowed.
