Meijer Pharmacy in Richmond, IN is seeking a Relief Pharmacist to support multiple stores within a dedicated footprint. You will accurately review, verify, and dispense prescriptions while delivering exceptional patient care through counseling and education.

The role involves immunizations where allowed, mentorship of technicians, and leadership in the absence of the Pharmacist in Charge. A current pharmacis t license and retail pharmacy experience are preferred to serve the community

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license current and active.
• Pharmacist degree (PharmD or BS in Pharmacy).
• Experience in retail or community pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support across stores in a dedicated footprint and driving radius.
• Review, verify, and dispense prescription medications.
• Deliver patient care through counseling, education, and medication management.
• Build positive relationships with patients, healthcare providers, team members, and leadership.
• Mentor, coach, and develop pharmacy technicians while fostering accountability and teamwork.
• Lead pharmacy operations in the absence of the Pharmacist in Charge.
• Perform and oversee clinical services, including immunizations, where permitted by state law.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Prioritize workflow while maintaining safety, quality, and customer service.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives, wellness programs, and clinical services.
