Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Relief Pharmacist to support multiple Meijer Pharmacy locations in the Kettering area. You will review, verify, and dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, and deliver immunizations where allowed by state law.

The role includes mentoring technicians and stepping in for Pharmacist in Charge as needed. The ideal candidate holds PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, maintains an active license, and has retail pharmacy experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing.
• Retail or community pharmacy experience preferred.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Current pharmacist license.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense prescription medications.
• Deliver patient care through counseling and education.
• Mentor and develop pharmacy technicians.
• Lead pharmacy operations in the absence of Pharmacist in Charge.
• Perform immunizations and other clinical services where permitted by state law.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
