Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy in Lexington, KY is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide safe prescription filling, patient counseling, and clinical services including immunizations. You will mentor technicians, uphold Meijer policies, and ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced retail setting.

In this role you will oversee operations in the pharmacist's absence, collaborate with store leadership, and drive continuous improvement in service quality and accessibility for the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community Practice.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system and policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• In absence of the pharmacist in charge, oversee pharmacy operations.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• Comply with Meijer policies and state/federal laws.
• Communicate effectively and support measurable patient care goals.
