Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a pharmacist to provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced community pharmacy environment. You will fill prescriptions accurately, educate patients, and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues across the store.

In this role you will supervise pharmacy technicians, uphold Meijer policies, and oversee operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge. Immunization services are included, along with opportunities for professional growth within the

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana) Retail/Community Practice.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system and policies; understanding of state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Hold pharmacy technicians accountable for results and help grow the pharmacy business.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform at their highest level.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and state/federal laws; communicate effectively.
