Job summary

Meijer Inc. Pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide patient-centered care and oversee daily operations. You will fill prescriptions accurately, maintain strong patient relationships, and mentor technicians while upholding Meijer policies and regulatory requirements.

In this role you will supervise pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge, perform immunizations where allowed, and strive to expand clinical services to enhance patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community Practice.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy systems and regulations in the operating state.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and state/federal laws.
• Provide clinical services such as immunizations where allowed.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge.

Education

Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy

Registered and licensed in the state of practice

Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana)

Retail/Community Practice

Working knowledge of pharmacy system and regulatory state requirements
