Stevens Treatment Programs in Swansea, MA is seeking relief staff to support adolescents in a trauma-informed residential and educational setting. You will work with clinicians and educators to help implement individualized treatment plans and provide stable, supportive care.

This flexible, as-needed position offers $19.50–$20.50 per hour, with +$1.00/hour for bilingual Spanish fluency and up to +$1.00/hour for medication administration where applicable; shifts are not mandated, and scheduled

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Successful background check (EEC).
• Experience working with adolescents or special populations preferred, but not required.
• Ability to successfully complete required training.

Through a structured, trauma-informed residential and educational environment, we help young people build stability, resilience, and the skills they need to move forward with confidence.

The Role

You’ll work alongside clinicians and educators to support individualized treatment plans in meaningful, practical ways.

What You’ll Do

• Build supportive, consistent relationships with youth

• Coach youth in coping skills, emotional regulation, and daily living skills

• Support daily programming, activities, transportation, and routines as needed

Relief / Per Diem Expectations

This is a flexible, as-needed position. There are NO mandated or forced shifts.

• Relief staff are expected to work a minimum of 24 hours per month during their first six months.
• After the initial six-month period, relief staff are expected to work at least 40 hours per quarter to remain active in the relief pool.
• Shifts are offered based on program needs and staff availability.
• Staff may select shifts based on their availability; there are no mandated or forced shifts.

Available shifts may include:

8:00 AM–4:00 PM

2:00 PM–10:00 PM

Shorter fill-in shifts as available

Required Training

Relief staff are required to participate in one monthly training, held virtually on the first Wednesday of each month.

Training is an important part of maintaining active status and ensuring all relief staff are prepared to safely and effectively support youth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record

• Ability to successfully complete required training

Compensation

• $19.50–$20.50/hour, based on experience, education, and schedule
• +$1.00/hour for bilingual Spanish fluency
• Up to +$1.00/hour additional for medication administration, as applicable
• Holiday pay, as applicable
