Graham Packaging Company in York, PA is seeking a Relief Operator to work the 3rd shift (10:48 PM–7:00 AM, with Sunday startup). This role combines Extruder Operator, Forklift Driver, and Sorter duties in a fast-paced recycling plant environment.

The position offers starting pay of $22.35 per hour plus $2.00 per hour shift differential, with weekly pay and benefits from day one and vacation after 90 days. Safety, quality, and teamwork are emphasized in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year forklift experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion.
• Collaborates well with others and contributes to group objectives.

Responsibilities

• Operate extruder lines and monitor systems, ensuring safety and quality.
• Load and unload materials and maintain inventory; operate forklift as needed.
• Sort materials for contamination and color, and keep work area clean and organized.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and document process steps.
• Train fellow employees as requested and follow company policies.
