Overview

Graham Packaging is seeking a Forklift Operator based in York, PA for a Day Shift (7am‑7pm) rotating schedule. The position offers weekly pay starting at $22.05 per hour with benefits effective on day one.

Responsibilities

• Operate lift trucks to stack, transport, and store finished goods and materials on production lines.
• Perform daily safety inspections, battery checks, and record equipment status.
• Maintain accurate line driver reports of raw materials used, finished goods shipped, and stock levels.
• Assist production line employees with breaks and lunch periods.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and physical inventory taking.
• Follow all safety, health, quality, and company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of forklift operating experience.
• Valid forklift certification is required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure, maintaining a positive attitude.
• Proficient in computer usage and typing.

Compensation & Benefits

Base pay: $22.05 per hour.
