Maniilaq Association in Alaska seeks a Central Supply Clerk to assist the Central Supply Manager by managing inventory, placing purchases from Regional Warehouse, and handling mail and filing. You will enter data into inventory software, check invoices and packing slips, and support customers.
You will train in all department duties, coordinate daily operations, and ensure orders and backorders are processed.

Thisposition assists the Central Supply Manager in operating the department byfocusing primarily on resource management, including preparing purchases fromthe Regional Warehouse inventory. Responsible for opening or closing theCentral Stores Department and the accompanying duties assigned to that task.Conducts daily office tasks, enters data into inventory computer program.Filing documents, checking invoices and packing slips on materials received.Assists customers. Prepares and sorts mail.Reports directly to the Central Sterile & Supply Manager.
Job Qualifications:
Highschool diploma or equivalent. One year of specialized or administrativeexperience. Must be able to type well enough to efficiently carry out duties.Able to use the computer at the beginning level for word processing, data entryand spreadsheets. Able to learn and work with database inventory software. Ableto learn and become familiar with hospital medical supplies and equipment.Familiar with daily office procedures. Able to assume responsibility and followinstructions with a minimum amount of supervision.
