Job summary

Lassonde Pappas & Co., Inc in Seabrook, New Jersey seeks a Relief Operator to proficiently operate all line equipment at a grade 8 level in a fast-paced production setting. You will support the Production Supervisor and ensure smooth changeovers with attention to detail.

Starting rate is $26.90/hr with $0.35/hr second shift and $0.45/hr third shift differentials; medical insurance is offered through Local Union 152.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must fill out required documentation.
• Machine operator training completed on all equipment.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic.
• Forklift certification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Cover filler, labeler, case packer and line driver when needed.
• Perform quality checks.
• Operate all line controls (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic).
• Start/stop machinery safely and maintain jam-free operation.
• Complete documentation and first-piece inspections.
• Coordinate with operators to ensure correct packaging materials.
