Job summary

Maniilaq Association in Kotzebue, Alaska seeks an In-Home Support Specialist I/II/III to provide habilitation and ADL supports under the HCB Waiver Program. The role involves training individuals, assisting with daily tasks, and documenting progress for the Care Coordinator.

Positions require a High School diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Certifications in First Aid/CPR are preferred and may be required for advancement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living activities as per Plan of Care.
• Assist with self-care, mobility, grooming, meal preparation, and routine tasks.
• Supervise medications as authorized and prescribed when certified.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment and document progress for Care Coordinator.
• Attend training and maintain compliance with regulations and policies.
