Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s Burnet Campus is seeking a full-time Food Services teammate for 2-3 shifts. The role includes 8.5-hour shifts scheduled between 10:30am-11pm, totaling 40 hours per week.

Starting pay ranges from $16.75 to $20.27 per hour, with adjustments based on experience and equity. The role involves staffing coverage, meal preparation and service, patient tray assembly, and maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, along with inventory and cash-handling tasks.

Qualifications

• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Relief position with no guaranteed schedule; shifts may vary week to week and include every other weekend/holiday rotations.

Responsibilities

• Provide staffing coverage across Food Services as needed.
• Prepare, serve, stock, and replenish food and beverage items.
• Assemble patient meal trays according to diet orders when assigned.
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention standards.
• Support cash handling, inventory, stocking, and other operational duties as assigned.
• Adapt to changing work locations, assignments, and departmental needs.
