Job summary

The Maniilaq Association is seeking a Relief Chore Services Provider to assist elders in their homes across all villages, supporting the Elder Services program. This role reports to the Elder Services Program Coordinator.

Responsibilities include basic housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and documenting services, with CPR/First Aid required within 3 months of hire and adherence to confidentiality. A compassionate, dependable caregiver is essential.

Qualifications

• Criminal history statement and fingerprints required.
• Must obtain CPR and First Aid within 3 months of hire.
• Knowledge of Inupiaq language and culture preferred.
• Must be able to lift at least 60 pounds.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Make beds and change linens.
• Laundry.
• Light housekeeping including dusting and vacuuming.
• Trash removal.
• Cleaning medical equipment including bedside commodes, wheelchairs, etc.
