Join to apply for the Relief Driver / Material Handler role at Hanover Foods Corporation

Responsibilities include the efficient receiving, shipping, storing, transferring, and inventory control of goods and products at the Spring Glen Plant and Warehouse. Deliver products to customers as needed and develop a customer service-focused relationship similar to that of a sales representative.

1. Operate forklift safely to transfer pallets within storage areas, production lines, and trucks.
2. Verify merchandise prior to shipping or receiving for accuracy and condition.
3. Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring damage prevention.
4. Report damaged goods upon receipt.
5. Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
6. Rotate stock using FIFO to ensure ingredient freshness.
7. Pick customer orders with RF scanners.
8. Prepare materials for the next day’s production as directed.
9. Maintain inventory control and report low stock levels.
10. Contribute to accurate monthly inventory and audits.
11. Represent the company positively during external interactions.
12. Perform heavy lifting and adhere to safety and hygiene regulations.
13. Follow food safety policies, including GMPs and HACCP standards.
14. Deliver or pick up products and raw materials as directed.
15. Ensure freight accuracy and proper documentation at each step.
16. Report vehicle conditions, mileage, and mechanical issues.
17. Perform other duties as operationally required.
