Job summary

Center for Human Development (CHD) seeks Relief Direct Care Staff for its STARR Residential Program in Springfield, MA. You will help maintain a structured, therapeutic environment and collaborate with youth, families, and agencies to support care plans.

This role requires flexibility across three shifts and a commitment to high standards with no guaranteed hours. Prior residential care experience is preferred, with emphasis on empathy and teamwork in a youth-focused setting.

Qualifications

• High School or better.
• Residential experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a structured, therapeutic setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a structured, safe, therapeutic environment.
• Deliver care aligned with each youth's treatment plan.
• Respond to daily care and treatment needs with respect to diversity.
• Work shifts as assigned, including overnight bed checks and staying alert.
