Qualifications

• Two years or equivalent experience of institutional cooking, prep cooking or kitchen work preferred.
• Food Service Supervisory experience preferred.
• Certification in Food Service Sanitation required within the first 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares breakfast, lunch, dinner, alternatives, catering foods following standardized menus.
• Prepares high quality meals that taste and present well.
• Tests and tastes food to ensure quality flavor, texture and temperature.
• Supervises and delegates on shift to ensure product and service quality when delegated as supervisor.
• Maintains sanitation and safety in kitchen and food service areas.
