Job summary

Open Sky Community Services seeks a Relief Counselor to support individuals facing mental health challenges, helping them live independently and reach beyond perceived limits. You will assist with daily living needs and maintain a safe, supportive environment in Central Massachusetts.

The role emphasizes flexibility to manage personal, work, and/or school schedules and offers an opportunity to gain relevant experience within a trauma-informed, inclusive organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record are required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing individualized, person-centered support plans.
• Assist individuals in accessing community resources and/or provide transportation as needed.
• Implement activities that promote skill development, community engagement, personal growth, and meaningful relationships.
• Review and complete all required documentation.
