Job summary

Granite Recovery Centers in New Hampshire seeks a dedicated Full-Time Relief Cook to prepare meals per menu, ensure guest and staff satisfaction, and follow dietary restrictions with attention to detail.

You will monitor temperatures, complete logs, clean and sanitize kitchens, stock serving areas, and perform routine deep cleans. The role requires independence, reliability, and commitment to health and safety in a resident facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in kitchen/restaurant setting preferred.
• ServSafe certification is a plus.
• Pass criminal background check.
• Knowledge of health, food and sanitation practices.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Monitor temperatures of hot and cold foods and document results.
• Prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner per menu and dietary restrictions.
• Clean storage, prep and serving areas to maintain sanitary conditions.
• Wash dishes, stock serving areas, and manage waste.
• Perform routine deep clean of kitchen equipment and floors.
• Ensure health, safety, and high-quality food preparation.
• Interact professionally with clients while maintaining boundaries.
• Undertake other related tasks as assigned.
