Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive.
  • Ability to pass a driving and background check.
  • COVID-19 Vaccine Card.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to complete training both online and in-person.
  • Previous human services or long-term care experience is strongly preferred.
  • CNA/HHA experience preferred.
  • At least 1 year’s experience working in a similar setting.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure community engagement.
  • Assist with ensuring a livable environment.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of each individual's goals.
  • Provide therapeutic support and assist in Behavior Support Plans, if appropriate.
  • Transport individuals to and from activities, outings.
  • Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living such as feeding, dressing, toileting, and other aspects of personal care, and nutritional needs.

Schedule:Relief/Per Diem with availability for Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-3:00pm schedule. 16 hours of availability required.

WSC is actively seeking Relief/Per Diem Community Support Workers to help empower adults with intellectual disabilities to make more meaningful life choices by working directly with those individuals in one of our two Day programs

This role is interesting because you will:

  • Assist with ensuring a livable environment
