Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring Security Officers for multiple client sites in the North of Boston / Merrimack Valley, MA area. Roles include day, evening, overnight, full-time and part-time schedules depending on openings.

As a Security Officer you will perform access control, patrols, reporting, and incident response. Training is provided; previous security experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience is preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow detailed post orders and site procedures.
• Ability to stand, walk, patrol, and respond to incidents throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Access control and gate duties, verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs.
• Patrol assigned areas by foot or vehicle and monitor entrances, parking, and exterior spaces.
• Interact professionally with employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers.
• Monitor CCTV and alarms; respond to alerts per site procedures and escalate when needed.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, safety concerns, and incidents calmly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate daily logs and incident reports.
• Follow post orders and safety procedures and represent the client professionally.
• Present a professional presence to visitors and site personnel.
