Job summary

Acquire4Hire LLC is seeking a dedicated bus driver to transport students to daycare, school, and learning centers. You will ensure safety protocols are followed, assist students with boarding and exiting, and maintain order during trips.

The role requires regular route supervision, adherence to schedules, and reporting vehicle issues. A valid driver’s license is mandatory, with early-morning and late-afternoon shifts. The position emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer care.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Hours are 7-8:30AM/ 3:30PM-4:30PM.
• Follow safety procedures for vehicle operation.
• Inspect motor vehicles.
• Drive passenger vehicles.
• Report vehicle or equipment malfunctions.
• Record operational details of travel.
• Maintain professional knowledge or certifications.
• Read maps to determine routes.
• Notify others of emergencies, problems, or hazards.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules as students board and exit buses or cross streets near bus stops.
• Comply with traffic regulations to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
• Check the condition of a vehicle's tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water, and safety equipment.
• Maintain order among pupils during trips to ensure safety.
• Pick up and drop off students at regularly scheduled locations, following strict time schedules.
• Report any bus malfunctions or needed repairs.
• Drive gasoline, diesel, or electrically powered multi-passenger vehicles to transport students.
• Prepare and submit reports that may include passengers, trips, hours, mileage, or fares.
• Escort small children across roads and highways.
• Keep bus interiors clean for passengers.
• Read maps and follow directions.
• Regulate heating, lighting, and ventilation for passenger comfort.
• Report delays, accidents, or traffic situations via phone or radio.
• Make minor repairs to vehicles.
