Job summary

Cemex US is seeking a responsible and skilled Ready-Mix Driver to operate our concrete mixer safely and deliver loads to various work sites within the Los Angeles region, including Inglewood and Compton. The candidate will navigate diverse environments and handle equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

This role requires a Valid Commercial Driver's License, strong communication skills, and adherence to safety protocols. Compensation ranges from $28.01 to $36.79 per hour based on experience and skills.

Qualifications

• Driver must qualify as not prohibited in FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Acceptable CSA and MVR record; no DUI/DWI in the last 5 years.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols in the construction and transportation industry.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Ensure safe and timely delivery of concrete loads to job sites.
• Adapt discharge methods to various site settings and conditions.
• Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical soundness of the ready-mix truck.
• Provide outstanding customer service.

Skills

Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A or B)
