Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a dedicated delivery driver to transport meals between Harbor Light locations in Detroit and Monroe. The role requires safe vehicle operation, on-time performance, and proper loading/unloading of meals and donated items, with attention to vehicle maintenance and cleanliness.

Applicants must meet licensing and background requirements and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must possess a Michigan chauffeur license and approval by MVR.

Responsibilities

• Drive van on route making predetermined stops according to schedule
• Load and unload meals on the van
• Pickup and/or delivery of donated items as assigned
• Complete daily maintenance check of van and report problems
• Maintain cleanliness of van and thoroughly clean after route
• Safely operate vehicle and follow all road rules
