Job summary

Great River Health is seeking a Delivery Driver to transport designated supplies and prescriptions to various locations. You will follow traffic laws, inspect vehicle condition, load and unload goods, and report issues to your Supervisor.

This role requires strong customer service skills and reliable attendance. Qualifications include 1-3 years in customer service, a valid driver's license upon hire, and a high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1-3 years experience working in customer service.
• Driver's License Upon Hire Required.
• H.S. Diploma or GED Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.
• Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
• Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles.
• Verify the contents of inventory.
• Discuss any feedback received from deliveries with Supervisor.
• Read maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions.
• Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to Supervisor, using cellular telephone.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
